| For nearly 20 years, my husband Marvin and I have lived and worked in the Santa Cruz mountains. We had a dream to create our own home on undeveloped land. We had to cross the many hurdles from choosing and buying land, finding loans, and learning how to effectively develop the property of our dreams. |
| We've done it! We now live the lifestyle that we once dreamed of. We own our own land and the wonderful home we've built on it. We get our power from the sun and thus have no bills and no brownouts. We get our water directly from our own well. We experience no compromise in our lifestyle yet we leave only a light footprint on the earth. We have all the conveniences of the 21st century in a timeless and unspoiled landscape. |
